When I got it, I don't think it had been touched in 40 years! The barrel was full of spider webs & the action & stock were filthy & greasy. As you can tell, it cleaned up nicely, the bore it bright & shiney and after a few coats of BLO rubbed in with 4 ought steel wool the stock popped to life. I am happy with it!

My rimfire collection:

Ruger 10/22 bull.
Chiappa M4-22 upper and custom A1 .22 on consecutive serial numbered SA&A lowers
Ruger MKIII 22/45
GSG 1911-22

I love my rimfires, and with skyrocketing ammo costs I do my training on these guys ad I just warm up the high powered rifles at the tail end of a session

Sweet collection! I too have been shooting rimfire exclusively this summer. I built a 10/22 & bought a Savage MKII bolt gun, and it is a hoot to shoot groups with them! Rimfire is a challenge of it's own. I am learning tons about differences in ammo, scopes etc.

I used to have a Marlin Model 39 (no, not the 39A) manufactured about 1928. Serial # prefaced with an S, so it was not meant to fire high-speed cartridges (only the serial #s prefaced with HS denoted a High Speed bolt capable of handling such ammo). I gave it to my son last year (along with other guns because I think WA law will change if I-594 passes). Used Rem Subsonic ammo with no problem. Sorry, no pics.

I have "built" a 1911 .22 pistol using a modified Oly Arms Matchmaster Kit frame (note the "K" above the serial # and on the trigger guard, as well as on the other side of the frame: I guess Oly wants to make sure it was not a factory assembled gun), a Sarco 1911 parts kit (the hammer and grip safety appear to be MIM), and a J.A. Ciener .22LR conversion kit (had it since 1994), with smooth rosewood grip panels, and had the MSH and frame parked at the Oly factory.

After all the fitting and such, it runs great.

I like it and hope you all do, also.

My Ruger 22/45 Lite. Put a Burris Fastfire 3 on top although I'm not sure I like it on the pistol. I might move it to my shotgun.
