GM, first off I wanted to say this is a GREAT thread!

my father is currently thinking about doing a 9mm AR and I will be helping him out(but also learning as I go) through the process.

Those are great pics and a great looking carbine!!!

I am right handed and shoot left also. You have a freaking cool gun, if I did not already have a CX4 Storm I think I might go that rought with my King Leonitus lower.

GM did you notice a diffrence in the location of the spent brass on the ground before and after the instalation of the Colt/RRA style deflector?
I know you shoot Left handed did it help in this respect.

I feel better knowing I'm not the only one that hasn't gotten out to shoot.

Now it's almost too hot to even go outside, 105 with a heat index of 114. Leave the rounds sitting in the sun and they might just start cooking off on their own and with the price of ammo and the short supply I can't afford for that to happen.

oh, I've had her out a few times now! as that was an old posting; and right now I'm working on a experimental project, and will be doing some ‘beta testing’ on it soon … I hope! :D

well it’s nothing really ‘Top Secret’ it will be a ‘homemade’ magazine that will utilize a modified Suomi M-31 Drum Magazine and the top of a STEN magazine;… in order to feed the AR15 9mm variant

That's what I thought. I saw your post on the shortend Sten mag thread to ar_newbie. I ordered my "parts kit" on Monday so this makes 3 of us working on one.

Maybe we should start a new thread for this project so we can share thoughts and ideas.

so far, I only have half of what you have on yours; about 200 rounds! and it’s mostly all slow fired use … as I do most of the 9mm shooting at an indoor range, and during the Winter months.
