yep, just one would be nice … as I have (2) factory magazines; and (1) drum would be a nice addition to the GSG-5

Weet,
H&K and ATI were in a "dispute" over the guns. I can't remember how it was settled.

Wasn't the discontinuation of importing to US part of that?

part of it … but not all of it; as they had to make certain design changes, as well.

Yeah my Dad has one thats's just the pistol part, no stock. And let me say this, that thing is small but awesome fun to shoot! 8) It has a smooth action and is easy to operate. I love it. :thumbs up:

I totally agree HH, as I've had mine out a couple of times in the past few months; and they're quite accurate too :D

Still no photo show-case GM?

Does it havea plastic feel to it? What about its weight? Durability? I'm definitely looking into picking one up!

what photo ‘show-case’ would you like to see?

multi questions

• Does it have a plastic feel to it?
no not really, other than the buttstock is hollow.

• What about its weight?
the weight and balance is good in my opinion.

• Durability?
I’m not hard on my weapons, at all; and it’s a very accurate piece, as it will consistently rag-holes on the targets, at any range so far.

just a word of advice; they have changed them up a little since all of the ‘hub-bub’ over the importation of the GSG’s … but for the most part, they are all the same, but I still prefer the Gen-II model ... but then again, I like the 'fixed rails' that the new units have on them.

the newer units are kind of funky looking; as the ‘fake-can’ is massive in its diameter; and they added a little molded tab to the trigger guard-area; for some reason (I have no idea why); and the handguard is round now with a soft texture to it; and I saw a couple of guys shooting a newer model at the range recently (two trips ago) and IIRC, the magazines are only (10) round mags, and not the (22) rounds like I bought a few years ago; as I think there not making them anymore?

I handled an HK mp5 in .22lr today, I was quite surprised by how heavy it is. I wonder how the gsg compares in weight? I think I'd only be interested in either as an SBR. The whole fake can seems lame to me, I get it, gotta have 16" and it looks bettere than a long ol barrel sticking out front but still....a nonfuncting supressor is like a ginormous spoiler and a bonzai muffler on a honda .....not so cool

I handled one of those newer GSG’s yesterday, as I stopped off at the local Gun Shop in town looking for some 54R ammo; and the weight on these newer offerings is nearly double, if not triple the weight, as the unit would be extremely difficult to shoot … off hand.

as for the ‘Fake’ish CAN’ the one on my GSG is reasonable; but the newer offerings, have a massive unit on them; and it appears to be nearly 2in in diameter; and IIRC, some of them have a Recall on them currently.

Want to get the GSG5SD model next. Currently have the standard GSG5P. Then I'll go for the GSGSP.
