I wouldn't mind shooting it if it had a real pistol grip. I have a Contender barrel in .444 Marlin, it snorts but it is still manageable. I also have another barrel in .30-40 Krag which should be about the same as the ‎7.62×54mmR in nearly every respect.

While it may be great camo in winter weather for some reason it is hard on my eyes and I mean it makes them pull or something to that effect to actually look at it. And yes I can see it, it just puts a kind of strain on my vision. I am due for an eye exam though, so maybe I need new glasses.
