a custom ‘dust-cover’ engraving project

I’m going to take this item over to the trophy-shop in town and have it engraved with an Olympic Arms or OA2 theme. :D

That one trophy shop that you found did great work and at a reasonable price.

If I wasn't so anal about my personal info being spread all over the internet, I'd post a picture of how well mine came out, but everyone is just going to have to take my word for it. 8)

Looking forward to how your project is going to turn out.

I’ll definitely be having the work done at that local trophy-shop again; but I'm not 100 percent sure of what I want done to the cover yet! but I do know that it will most likely have a ‘Flag’ and the ‘OA2.org logo’ … if they can do those graphics or not?

The place that did my last lower also does EP covers.
They did a nice job with the lower and I'd use them again.

nice! ... I like this Flag, and I'm sure they can do the work too; I'll try to swing by the trophy-shop tomorrow afternoon.

I dropped off the 'dust-cover' earlier in the week, and I'm still waiting on a return phone call, to see if they can do the graphics that I want on it! :D

well … I waited for well over a month on the trophy shop to contact me; so I stopped by there yesterday as I fueled up the truck before the 3-day weekend; and the shop owner apologized for not contacting me earlier; as he was unable to get the image/graphic small enough to engrave it on the dust-cover panel.

I guess it's time to find another trophy shop ... with skills

Really? That's actually surprising. Anyone with a laser engraver (not that expensive these days) should be able to get you squared away.

I agree, that kinda stinks.

I bet Glock Holiday (Quentin Laser/Quentin Defense) could do it.

I would like having a door with "Don't tread on me" on the outside, and "I told you so" on the inside :ignore:

yeah I thought so too ... but the couple is getting up there in their years; and his Wife told me a month ago that they could not do the work from the get go! she told me that, the day I walk into the shop a month ago; so who knows?

all I really wanted was the Olympic Arms® Lion on one-side, and the letters/text OA2.org in italics on the other ... I’ll just go find another shop :D

I bet he could too; but I kinda wanted to keep it local, and not have to ship it out :D

There is a particular gun shop that I no longer frequent that has a laser engraver if you cannot find an alternative. Its 15 bucks to get a dust cover done there. But that is just a last resort.

I recently was able to have a custom door laser engraved by http://www.tacticalgearjunkie.com/

So few things completely describe a mans' entire life in such quiet wisdom as this.

And if there is anyone here who does not already know this or have a Bible nearby to look it up, I'll make it easy for you (BTW, this is probably one of my favorite verses of all time):

dust cover engraving 002.JPG

Ecclesiastes 3

1 To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:

2
A time to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to plant,
And a time to pluck what is planted;

3
A time to kill,
And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
And a time to build up;

4
A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;

5
A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;

6
A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;

7
A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
And a time to speak;

8
A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time of war,
And a time of peace.
