New stock & scope

Postby Rob » Sat Mar 18, 2017 2:58 am

I got this Choate stock from Globemaster way back in February 2011 and never put it on anything. Decided to try it out when I was mounting a new scope. Scope is a Bushnell 4.5-18x40 Drop Zone-223 from their AR Optics line. Also replaced my older Burris Fastfire 2 with a new Burris Fastfire 3 on a 45* offset mount.

Very cool "old school". I haven't seen one of those choate stocks in a while. Always liked them.

Very cool, and very useful for the "offhand tuck" when shooting from a rest or bipod-- and I can never find them when I'm looking for them, you rascal you.

Always liked that stock, missed out when they were available. SARCO had them real cheap for a brief time.
