My Mom was born in either Elkhart or Witchita but graduated from Dodge City High School clear back in 38. She'll be 89 come Christmas and is still sharp as a tack. She even made it back for her 50th High School reunion. Her older Sister, my Aunt Della went back a few years ago and married her High School sweetheart. She warned him that her first 5 husbands mostly died of natural causes (so she says) but he still took her. My Grandparents moved the family out west at the start of WWII. My Grandfather bought a farm in Castle Rock Washington and worked in the shipyards.
