Just purchased this Mossberg 590A1 at the PA National Guard Armory Gun Show in NE Philadelphia on 5/17/2014...

Ran over a hundred rounds through her so far...mostly 00 Buck and Slugs...with a few #8's just to pattern it.

$499 out the door @ the PA National Guard Armory gunshow...cost another $100 for the Ontario M9 on sale @ MidwayUSA.

Very happy with it...

cool, I have one like it, and I installed the Phoenix Technology® Kicklite™ M590 Tactical Series stock on it a few years ago.

Where did you get the heatshield to fit the heavy barreled M590a1 !?

the shield was already on the shotgun when I got it; I traded off a camo Benelli Nova turkey-shotgun for it, and it came w/ the Orlando bayonet as well ;-)

Had it out the other day at the range...put 50 rounds through her...a mix of Estate 00 Buck and Royal Rio Target Loads.

She performed flawlessly...
