Not bad for Chinese Knockoff

Postby ididieselman » Mon Sep 29, 2014 4:04 pm

Long story short my brother talked me into going in half with him on these optic precision knockoff "ACOG". I not being one to by knockoff Chinese garbage.I caved and said what the heck. My brother found this deal 2 for 120.00 with free shipping so I gave him the 60.00 and forgot about it. 2 weeks later he calls and says they are in. So we slap em on or carbines and head to range, overall unit was pretty solid and glass was not bad. Not great and definitely not bad, fiber optic cable actually works really well even in low light conditions. The fake "ACOG" zeroed easy enough, I sighted it to my normal distance. I go with the 50 yard zero, after getting it on 50 I rechecked at 200 and even tested the 400 yard bullet drop comp. That it actually has for 400 and 600, it worked as it should.I even dropped the rifle 3 times and even banged it on post to see if it would lose it zero. To my surprise it held. I feel bad buying it, but am enjoying its function. I give it a 3 out of 5 losing 2 points for the fact it was made in China. oh ya its 4x32

nice! … it looks like the rounds grouped up well with the knockoff, I’d say that worth at least (2) points right there; and aesthetically, it looks pretty nice too! :thumbs up:

do ya have a link for the optic?

Yes, I'd be interested in a link as well.
