Membership Change

Postby Rattler » Tue Mar 14, 2017 8:13 am

Dear OA2 Members,

While I know this will not affect many of you, it will affect some. Due to the ever growing expenses involved in maintaining the www.oa2.org web site, and the minuscule number of people that are paid members (let alone participants at this point), the organization can no longer offer free email services. The cost to run the forum far exceeds the funding coming in from members and advertisers, and every attempt is being made to reduce costs in order to save the forums in perpetuity for future readers.

We regret that this step is necessary, but again, every effort must be made to cut costs.

Email services will cease as of 3-31-2017.

Yes, it is understandable. That's probably the least intrusive thing that could be cut.

Thanks Tom.

well, if that's the case; maybe the buyer of Olympic Arm Inc. would be interested in snapping up OA2.org as well?

OA2 is always for sale to the right person at the right price. JohnA would be excellent at this. Maybe JohnA and Globemaster can partner! :yikes:
